Gown Preservation

Hi Newlyweds,

First off Congrats to you all, I just saw some beautiful pics of the 06-07 brides and FIRST OFF WOOOOWW!! You guys are gorgeous brides

Well the reason I am posting is my wedding would have been on 6/16/07, and for reasons that it was 'simply not meant to be', I will not be getting married. However, my dress took so long to buy and my mother bought this gown for me, I know it was $$ so I cannot resell this. I wish to preserve it and one day wear this for 'the one'. Can anyone tell me were they had there gown preserved, and price quotes. I live in Stonybrook, and I work in Cold Spring Harbor, so I can have this done anywere between Suffolk and Nassau.

I haven't even seen the gown yet, since I ordered it so I know this will be a hard brige to cross But live goes on....

Thanks for the help ladies!!

Re: Gown Preservation

I had mine cleaned and preserved by my dry cleaners in Selden (in the Bob's shopping center). It came out great and it cost less than $200.

I'm so sorry to hear this but you seem to have the right attitude!! Hopefully your true prince is waiting for you at the next corner!!

As for preservation, I know Wedding World in Commack sends it out to be done, with the veil costs $250.
