Gown Preservation cont'd

Hello fellow newlyweds!

I am reallyl starting to get nervous and worried about where to get my dress perserved. I hear a lot from other LIWeddings ladies that Wed Clean is a good company...can someone please tell me more about this company, like what goes into it, how is done and how much it costs.

Is there any local companies that do a good job as well?

Thanks,
Mrs.Boodram!

Re: Gown Preservation cont'd

This is who my Mom used. I think they are pretty expensive, but they did a great job. They also cleaned/restored my Mom's veil so I could wear it on my wedding day.

Re: Gown Preservation cont'd

I used wedclean, and am waiting for my gown to be shipped back....but my experience so far with them has been wonderful!
i believe it was about $100 for the cleaning, i also took out extra insurance just in case, and paid an extra $10 for my veil to be cleaned as well. total was about $175 witht he tax and shipping.
About a week later, I got a package in te mail, with a box, a bag for the gown, and all of the packing supplies necessary to send it to them - oncluding packing tape, which i was thrilled with!
then i dropped it off at UPS, and recieved an email from them about a week later letting me know that they had recieved my gown and were beginning the process.
i'll elt you know how it looks when it comes back

Re: Gown Preservation cont'd

I used wedclean....they were great! I had my dress, veil, and slip all preserved. They shipped me the box with packing materials, when they received my dress, they let me know and I got it back in about 2 or 3 weeks. I would definitely recommend them.
