Grandfather's table is done and AMAZING!
My grandfather passed away in 2000. He used to restore antique furniture, so he fell in love with one of his own pieces and kept it when he closed up shop. The store was named after me! =)
Well, when he passed on my mom and dad took the table and it wasn't treated very well. They moved upstate and the table wasn't going to make the trip so I took it. I really wanted to restore it but never priced it out or knew anyone. DH's dad recommended someone so we decided to have it done. The guy just delivered it, and I want to cry I'm so happy with it.
It had nicks, stratches, ink marks, the leg was broken, the drawer was broken, and the list goes on. It looks like a completely new table! If you need anything wood fixed or restored this guy is a genius!!!!! I'll post a before and after ASAP.
