On the average, how much do you spend on food for you and DH, for a week?
I didn't have any brothers and for many years I was just shopping for myself or for my Mom and I. I'm shocked at how fast DH empties the refrigerator!

We average about $75 a week, but I am also a stocker so you can't always go by that. There are some weeks I don't have to shop at all. I would say we average $225 a month more so, because usually one of the 4 weeks of the month we don't shop at all except for milk

Suprisingly I only spend about $50 a week or less for both of us. Considering how much my MIL used to complain about how much he used to eat when he lived at home I was expecting the worst!

We probably average $300-400 a month but that includes trips to the wholesale club, pet supplies, cleaning supplies and entertaining as well. When we have a big group of people over that can be and extra $100.

We budgeted about $400 per month for all groceries: Food and toiletries. (including the trip to BJs)
This allows us to order out or dine out once in a while.

We usually make a big trip to BJ's once a month and that costs us between $100-200. Then, I usually make a small shopping trip (maybe for about $50 each) for two other times during the month.

About $80 - $140 per week depending on our needs.
We budget $110 per week, so far we've been averaging just about that for the 10 weeks we've been married

We spend about $100 a week. I also eat a lot of fish so that drives the cost up.

I use terislist.com, which is using coupons and sales to drastically cut down your grocery bill, but we spend maybe 120-150 a month.
