Im trying to grow my eyebrows in since I royally screwed them up by years of plucking. I recently started threading them and while they do get an awesome shape, theyre still too thin for my face and I hate them. I havent threaded them or touched them in about 2 weeks now and theres a lot of hair but I feel like the hair isnt growing where it needs to grow. Has anyone had any luck growing in their eyebrows? Do I need to wait longer is it a lost cause??

I love my eyebrows thick, so after being lazy and not going to where I get them done, I got them done by someone else and they came out too thin. Well, to be honest I stopped doing my eyebrows from Oct. 07 to May 08 1 mnth before my wedding. They were all bushy but I could careless what people have to say. Yet, my brow no longer grows hair at the end of the brow, which I find it too short but than again others can't really tell. GL. let us know how it goes.

I had mine done years ago w/electrolysis. Some new hairs came - I used to wax , but than someone burned me and I got a scar I also got ingrown s from wax. I find the best thing is just to use a tweezer.
I got that advise from my grandmother who was an electrolysis if you cannot go through the trying method to get it done that is truly the best thing to do. She explained that the fine hairs will become more course and or darker that you are removing and creating more of a problem.
Funny my makeup artist agrees.

It's still too soon, you are going to have to wait at least a month so that it all grows back.

i didn't touch my brows except for removing the serious uni-brow part for nearly TWO and a HALF MONTHS!!! cause i had tweezed them too much and waxed them waaaaaaaaay too thin.
then i went to get them threaded and they are nicely shaped and fuller

ive tried a couple time to grow mine out after over-plucking/tweezing (whatever you prefer lol), but ive done the damage already i think. mine doesnt grow in where needed either. i have like little holes in the fuller part, im like where the heck did they go..i never plucked there! i wont fully grow them out bc it starts to look gross with stray hairs in other places so what ive tried to do is grow out just the part that i want to widen (not workin out so well) and still get the stray hairs as often as i need. im trying to taper my over-plucking/tweezing habits a little. and im basically stuck with having to fill them a little when i do my makeup. i hate it. i look horrible without filling a little. my mom overtweezed when she was young too and now hers are so thin and dont grow at all so shes stuck with them. basically that will be me. i was tweezing every day when i did makeup, catching the hairs before they fulling grew out bc i hate that stubble look. clearly i have obsessive tweezing issues.

Thanks girls. Im going to give them more time. My mother overplucked/TWEEZED also. Now she has no eyebrows and draws them in. I dont want to end up like her! i was so tempted to put some Rogaine on them but I dont think thats a good idea Right now they look horrendous but I dont care, after all I AM married But luckily with makeup I can make them look decent. I draw them in and then use a shimmery white shadow right underneath them and that usually takes the attention of the massive amounts of pubic-looking hair growing in.

yeah let in grow in alot longer. It S*CKS bc some hairs will take a long time to grow back. I went to get laser removal but i DIDNT want my eyebrows done, i have thick eyebrows and i love it bc i can shape them however i want and i like the look better. Well i had my eyes closed and i felt her do one eyebrow and i jumped and freaked out and asked her what she was doing she said she thought i wanted my eyebrows so now i have one eyebrow that is a bit messed up and even her doing the laser 1 time on 1 eyebrow its taking FOREVER to grow back normally. She messed up the middle part but also the end of one, one is shorter than the other. After over a year, i JUST got 2 hairs grow back in towards the end.
I'll ask my mom whats the best way to do this. My situation is different bc it was laser, but maybe theres something that will help

well you wouldnt envy them when you see them on bad days. I do like that i can shape them how i want but omg sometimes they are a mess and can be WOAH in your face if god forbid i dont do it as soon as they grow in. Plus i wax more off than most ppl have but thank you so much.

ugh i feel your pain...i used to have such thick brows to the point where i would cry and beg my mother when i was younger to wax them b/c i was so embarrassed of them. Well now i regret i ever started waxing/tweezing and wish my mother never let me do it so often b/c i would do anything to have my thicker brows.
My brows dont grow in where i want them too either...but i only get my brows waxed once every three-four months now b/c im trying to grow them in and they dont even grow that much at all.
I heard that rogain will just irritate the skin around your brows so im apprehensive to try that but I also i read that virgin olive oil will stimulate eye brow hair growth if left on 20minutes a day, which im going to try, i'll let you know how that goes lol.

SAME HERE! I hate the curly things but now I want them back. Im gonna try olive oil too! Ill pupt it on before bed that way its on all night! Lets see what happens.

well honestly the only reason mine have stayed like this is bc my mom REFUSED to do them thinner. Even when i used to ask years ago she just wouldn't lol. SHe also had very thick eyebrows like me but starting from when she was a teenager she made them real thin and now they are too thin and she cant get them to grow back, even though its been YEARS lol.

i guess i should thank her hahaha...for my wedding i had to really convince her to please go JUST a little bit thinner bc without bangs the thick eyebrows stick out way more.

I have to wait a very long time to grow in my eyebrows, sometimes months. Sometimes it grows back , sometimes it doesn't. But 2 weeks is not nearly enough time.
