Ok so We don't have a dish washer. DAMN apt. When we moved in Mike said Ill do the dishes I don't mind. YA ok the dishes are pilled up so high in the sink. Then he walks around going the house is a mess.. OK SO CLEAN IT! I get to the point where im like I do so much that I hate doing it alone. So I say to myself Im not going to do it so he has to. But he wont. Now I can't take it anymore. Off to do the dishes. Thanks for letting me vent
ETA: When I say something to him he says 'I work more then you'

just leave them for a few days even thought it will kill you...same thing happened to me and after a few days he caved in

Craig used to do that when we first moved in together. He never did a THING around the house and since he worked a lot more than I did, I just took on the role bc it drives me crazy when things are messy! So after a while I got sick of doing dishes in our little apartment all the time too - so I stopped. e finally caved when he went to make a cup of coffee one morning and all the mugs were dirty! figures, that would be the only way to get him to chip in - take his coffee away! Now that we live in a house, there's a lot more to take care of - so he's gotten much better with helping out.

no nice meals till the dishes are done!
I rarely use paper, but before we had a dishwasher, we'd use them when we knew we couldn't handle dirty dishes. Like if we were already behind on the dishes, or when we were moving, etc. But then we also ate pizza, hot dogs & leftovers, so we would have more time to clean, etc.

I just caved and did them. They are going to stay in the dish drain thing till he gets home. AND I ran out of room so I had to resort to a towel on the counter.

I tried that with a plate smeared with ketchup on the dining roomtable. I lost it after two days and caved. I'm so weak!
