just need to vent......

At work, our building is being refurbished and added onto..... It's a major PIA... can't even tell you...

but today takes the cake. There's a guy immediately outside our lab wall with an F'in JACKHAMMER.... goin' after our wall

can't tell you how loud and it is......

I used to work in a crack den of an office so I can sympathize!!!! But look at it this way...it prepares you to be able to work in any environment!! haha

that suuucks

DH is dealing with the same thing at his office too

My mother has the same thing happening. And on top of that, she can't even enter the building though the front, so she has to walk ALLLLLLLLLLLLLL the way around the back. This is a 70 year old woman we're talking about here.No wonder why she didn't go into work today

THEY FINALLY STOPPED!!!! oh thank god for the 4pm whistle for construction crews....



yeah, we've been getting a lot of fire alarms lately... some due to the construction. They blocked all 4 emergency exits with construction tape. We had to break the tape and push the barriers out of the way in order to leave both on friday, and today. There was also a lot of chaos and confusion on which exits were actually usable...

I actually spoke to a fire marshall the other day about that.... nothing was done, and there was a repeat performance this afternoon....
