OMG. We had AOL 2.0 for Micrsoft 3 back in 1994. I wish I remembered which computer we had at the time.
(I know my dad used the IBM PS/1 model 2121 that he bought in 1992 but that was only a DOS based computer. I do not think that had any internet ability.)

I was 10 years old & in the 4th grade (my nephews age ) & I thought I was such a big shot having AOL & a computer at home. Most of my friends didn't. In school we only had Macs & only played Oregon Trail on them. I remember fighting with my dad, trying to tell him that you didn't use a computer to look up stuff on the internet. You only could play Oregon Trail on it.

i also remember working and my sister staying home alllllllll day on it.

then get a big asss bill for $300

I was in college by then and I can remember the fights I had with my brother just to get on the computer. It was a pain coz, we both went halvsies to buy this huge Gateway computer. I swear I never got my share of time on that thing.

I was def an AOL chatter fiend....it's funny some guy I met there, tried to FB me last year. I think the last time I chatted with him was like a decade ago.....UH hello STALKER!!!
