Hope everyone had a great weekend! What did everyone do this weekend?
I always like to hear about what people do because if they go to a great restaurant or one not so great. Well its good to know. Or a new place to have drinks. Etc.
On Saturday we went to Monterey's In Long Beach for dinner with 2 other couples. The food i give a B. The salads were great but my dinner (Filet Mignon) wasnt that great. However, DH said his was great. And two others were happy as well with their dinners. Then teh other 2 people werelike me. It was just ok. So its a 50/50. lol Its kinda expensive for a 50/50. But we did have alot of drinks (cosmos & Captain & cokes all over the place. lol) . I think most will feel the fod prices maybe expensive.
Anyway, afterward we went to The Allegria Hotel for more drinks (hehe) Kittygags dont kill me. lol lol Anyway the bar is great. It has an older crowd, but we all like that since well im 35. Anyway drinks are expensive ($10.00 a drink) but thats how they keep the younger crowd away & in the west end. lol The decor is great & we all would go back there in a second. The DJ was great too!
Sunday was arest day but we ended looking at two houses we were interested in but ended up that they werent as great as we hoped. And dinner at the in-laws which was great.

I had a horrible weekend...DAMN EAGLES ruined my Saturday night!!!!!!!!!!!! I also made grilled lamb and i hated it...too lamby...family liked it but I ate the roasted veggies and garlic mashed potatoes I made. My new fav veg is parsnips...never had them before but when you roast them they are so sweet like candy.
On friday we went to Danny Boys in woodhaven since I have my restaurant.com coupons and the food was pretty good...had a juicy lucy, LOL!!!
Sunday was more football some studying and cleaned the bathroom and kitchen. A nice relaxing weekend.

HORRIBLE WEEKAND!
Did absolutly nothing..DH had to work..it was a LONG WEEKAND! And none of my friends were around!!! How Boring! I was so lonely! But got caught up on allot of Sleep!
This weekand, well he's off Friday and won't go to sleep on Saturday till 2 or 3. So at least I get part of the weekand with him! And then next weekand he'll be off Saturday!! He's on a rotating Schedule! I wish it was M-F like me!!! I can dream can't I?

Friday night we hung out at home.. just had a nice relaxing night.. i wasnt feeling well so we just watched movies.
Saturday I went to queens in the afternoon and spent the day & night with my old roomates. We had alot of fun.. ended up drinking too much (even tho i knew i shouldnt bc i didnt feel well)
Sunday spent the day sick in my friends bed then came home and spent the rest of the day in my bed... and im still there now

Damn it Vicki! Don't give them your money! Have you eaten at the restaurant there? The times review kinda ripped it so I'm wondering if its not so great.
This weekend...hm Friday seems so long ago, just hung out and relaxed. Sat I went back to the gym finally, got a car wash, some lunch and then had some friends over for the JETS! So happy they won...
Then yesterday, vegged, painted our laundry room and then went to ILs for dinner and then to my DH aunt's house for cake for his cousins bday!
I can't believe its Monday again!

My DH is huge EAGLES fan too! We had a party to go to so he watched the game there he was not as pissed as I thought he would be since there were so many people but he was so disappointed when they lost
And I had to go into the office on Saturday to do some work and yesterday I just ran errands.

LOL No i havent eaten there. Prob wont. But when i run the boards in the afternoon it seems as if they have a descent crowd. Doesnt mean anything. I mean the food prob isnt that good. There were some people eating at the long table in the bar/lounge area. Having some bar food. I should have been nosy & asked lol. Next time perhaps. Ill ask i have a few friends that go there. I just never really asked them.

Hmm. .friday night we were going to see avatar but it sold out so we just went with a couple friend to eat sushi near our apt then watched episodes of glee that we had not seen waiting for a friend of mine who had a LATE flight in to arrive - then stayed up chatting with her until even later
Saturday visited with my friend, went out to breakfast then saturday night went to a friend's b-day part in brooklyn where we painted pottery - one of those places that has it made and you paint it and then keep it - then we played Rock Band!
Sunday - went to a rock climbing gym with DH and another couple in Brooklyn - totally fun and HARD! then out to dinner. .

We had a nice weekend...
Friday we stayed in and watched a movie.
Saturday we went out with a bunch of friends to celebrate my bday (my bday is dec 23 but the date we were originally going to do it was the day of the blizzard! lol) we went to Cabo in Rockville Centre! Love it there!! i ordered a margherita quesadilla! yummy!! also the cherry lime margheritas are awesome!
Sunday was my best friends daughters christening! it was pretty interesting never seen a greek orthodox christening! pretty cool cuz they dip the whole body into th water!!! 3 times! She had a dinner at the parkwood cafe in west islip after! it was aight...lol
sunday night i made DH chocolate chip cookies that he was begging me to make him all weekend! lol

I finally took all my summer clothes out of my closet. And got all the Christmas stuff down and away.
Oh and I got a new car! Picking it up tomorrow! Same car I had before in black now I got the white!

My Saturday was GREAT....first I went to work in the morning and we picked Dance costumes for the show in June.
Then I went to my 6 yr old favorite cousin (my fg)'s birthday party. She gave me one of the Tinkerbell crowns and a goodie bag lol
And then MY COWBOYS WON their first playoff game since 1996!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!! So happy for them.
Yesterday my cousin (bridesmaid) came over and we exchanged xmas gifts b/c she went upstate for the holidays....she bought me a new really cute jacket from Arden B and Black high heel boots. AWESOME!
Then DH & I went to dinner and the the movies.

I had a pretty nice weekend, but it went way too fast.
Friday was laundry day, so after I got home from work we went to MIL's house to do our laundry/hang out and watch TV. We didn't get home till close to 11, so we just went to bed after.
Saturday we went out east, took a ride, hit up a few wineries to restock, walked around Greenport for all of 30 seconds because it was COLD, ate at O'Malley's pub (awesome burgers!), stopped at Coach outlet for an unsuccessful attempt to get my Xmas present/wallet, then home and watched rest of football game and Islanders game.
Sunday we went to church in the morning, attempted to get some artwork/decorative items for our walls but couldn't find anything, food shopped, then I cooked an AMAZING lasagna and beef/pork/veal meatball dinner with homemade sauce, and enjoyed our privacy now that our landlords are away

Friday we tag-teamed dinner and I showed DH a new dish. We had steamed tilapia that was marinated and steamed with lemon juice, fresh garlic, and diced tomatoes. Then we watch Bruno, which although it was nowhere near as funny as Borat, I still love Sacha Baron Cohen and thought it was funny. There are a ton of ***** in it though, so be warned!
Saturday we watched football and took it easy. We made grilled salmon steaks (PERFECTION! OMG SO GOOD!) and salad for dinner. Then we went to 300 for a friend's bday night.
Sunday Kerri and John and our friends Dana and Juliet came over!! We watched more football and chilled. They brought RIDICULOUS brownies that Juliet's mom made. MMMM totally broke my diet, but not bad! I've been good I swear!! Then DH and I went to my parent's for dinner to say goodbye to my cousins who are going back to Argentina (they were visiting for the holidays).

We (me and my parents) went to Ruby Tuesdays for dinner on Friday then went to see Did You Hear About the Morgans. It was cute. Hugh Grant has great line delivery. Saturday I worked trying to get a lot of stuff done and then went to Manninos with my parents and my life long neighbors. I love Manninos, its so yummy. Sunday I packed up my desk.
DH was snowmobiling in upstate NY so I was alone all weekend, hence hanging out with my parents.

It was a very low-key weekend. Friday night I picked up chinese food on my way home and then DH and I ate and watched a DVD (The Proposal). Saturday during the day, DH worked and I cleaned and food-shopped. Saturday late afternoon, we watched the jets game then I read and did laundry while DH watched the Dallas game.
Yesterday, DH packed in the am (he went to FL to visit his parents today), then he went into work and I went played wii for like 5 hours straight by myself (the sports resort game - I'm addicted to the ping pong) until Big Love came on. DH got home from work at 1 am and then we woke up at 4:30 so I could drive him to the airport.

Friday night, I visited my sister. She's on bed rest, so I went to her place to keep her company.
On Saturday, I took an in-home cooking class. I've got a few more tasty, but healthy, recipes in my repertoire now.
Sunday, just running errands and starting to get ready for my trip to Georgia. I'm getting a little nervous now that it's getting closer (I'm having surgery to treat my endometriosis).
Pretty boring, all in all.
