to get back in the swing of things. I just returned home from our HM last Wednesday night, and my first day back to work was Friday. I have been SOO TIRED!!!! I still have not fully unpacked yet. lol I have so much Emotions going through me. Has anybody felt like this. I am Sad that everything is over, but at the Same Time SOO HAPPY to start our lifes together as husband & wife. Well, off to work, have a wonderful day my New Wifeys!!! We have to get this board bumping!!!!

Yes, it's perfectly normal!! Esp if you went somewhere on your HM with a time difference, you're going to be tired for awhile. But yes, you're so used to being 'pampered' and having all this anxiety towards the big day that 'regular life' seems almost boring now. I even remember changing out of my wedding dress and remarking to DH that my clothes seem so boring now!!
You'll get over it eventually, maybe a few weeks or a few months, depending on what else you've got going on in your life to take your mind off of the wedding.
Congrats on making it to the other side!!

Oh yes!
It was such a bummer coming back to 'reality'. The Monday morning after our HM, I walked into our apartment after the gym and started sobbing to DH that I couldnt believe it was all over and that i had to go back to work. I was so embarassed to be acting like that, but all the sweet ladies on this board tells me its normal.
Im at the two month married mark and I still get a little sad now and then about it being over!

I feel that way too, I even cried when we left St Lucia, I didn't want all the fun to end. Now I'm back and just dreaming our the great times!

its been nearly 3 months--i feel like i'll never get back to normal.
but seriously--it does take a little time...especially when u realize that you have all this extra time on your hands cause theres no wedding to plan! its a little weird at first, but you make it thru.
