Has anyone else...

NOT changed their name yet?

I just have no drive or desire to go down there, AND I'm so used to my name!

i changed it on most everything except my passport and social security. two big ones. and i've been married nearly 2 years.

i booked tickets last week--for a trip to London--and he got annoyed seeing my maiden name on the e-ticket print out. hehe he'll be bitter when he signs our taxes too. oh well

me either. i dont plan on changing it.

i changed everything except a few straggler things pop up on occasion...

it was a pain in the a$s but DH wanted it so i did it

married 2 months today and still haven't changed it........

i want to change it - just haven't had time - i have to take off work and between the wedding, HM, our florida trip and being out sick i can't really just take another day off to go to SS......that is where i want to start - do SS, then DMV, then credit cards......

i know it bothers DH - he was so excited for me to take his name, i feel bad about it

maybe next week i'll ask my boss if i can come in late and do it first thing in the morning

I went to SS on my lunch and was done in an hour. then did the DMV on another lunch break and was back in an hour.

Can I just change it w/SS and on my license, and leave my acct in my maiden? it seems like sooooooooo much work to change all of that.

I only changed it on my SS and license and with 1 CC.
I still have my maiden name on my bank account and passport and a few other things. I'll get it done eventually

I'm 'working' on this right now actually!
I've been so lax on doing this...its seriously on the bottom of my to do list!

DH is trying to get me to do the social secruity because of the way we have to file our taxes. Apparently in order for us to file together (because we'll get a bigger return) I have to update my name on my social.
Cant wait to stand on line at the where-ever-I-need-to-go office

DH jokingly teases me and says we arent really married until I change my name., lol

i work in NJ and SS is far away - unless you can go to SS office that is out of state? can i go in Jersey?

I changed my name on drivers license and ss but not passport. MY passport expires in 2 years and I may just wait until then to do it.

Also as far as SS - I live in NJ but work in NYC and was able to change my name on SS here in the city. But they do have strict guidelines. Like if you live in Queens, you HAVE to go to the Queen SS office for any changes, etc.

I changed it on my bank account a few days ago... it was actually easy all i needed was my marriage cert. I am going to DMV sometime the next few days only b/c my registration is up so might as well get that over with....

SS and passport are the last on my list

i just went down to the DMV today. I guess I can't do anything else until I get the new license (like changing my CC and such). Maybe I can do SS Card tho now? Not sure.

Either way, DH was wondering why I was so anxious to get that done. lol. I just was so sick of being married and still signing my maiden name

i havent and I dont think I will.. I still didnt change my address

I changed my name on my ss card last week and it already came in the mail so now I have to go get my drivers licesnsed changed

today I am changing my name at school because I will be graduating soon and I want my new name on my diploma as well as on my teacher's certificate/license--plus I need to change it for my school loans as well which is a process.

I haven't done my bank account or credit cards yet. I will when I get the chance haha as well as my passport.
