Has anyone ever been to NINJA in the city?

DH was talking about going there for VDay. Seems cool I guess...

Any opinions?

i've been....a while ago.

i actually didn't love it....i didn't even really like it.

i mean it is kitchy and cool in the sense that its all dark and cavernous and the private rooms are neat for sure.

but, i didn't like the food at all and once you got over the kitch of it there is not much else going on.

i did go for work so maybe its just the company that left a bad vibe in my mind!

soooo sorry to be such a buzzkill!

I was supposed to go with friends, but then I couldn't make it...

The review they gave was similar to Heather's - it's okay, it's kitchy, if you're on board for the novelty factor it'll be fun, but probably somewhere you'll only try once.

I say why not? give it a go, for something different!

DH and I went for dinner after we did a couples massage. We enjoyed it. Its something different to do. The ambiance was neat, they sat us in a secluded spot, the waiters would come by and try to scare us every now and then lol. Some of the items on the menu have little activities which were fun, and the food was good. I had no complaints aside that it was a little pricey. Overall I would recommend it.

DH wants to go too.... but when we called two wks ago the only reservation was like 1030 so we didnt go.. but will share everyones opinion with him!

BUT... we ended up going to churrascaria in tribeca.. a brazilian steakhouse.. and THAT was delic. i think the best rest. ive been to in a looooong time...
