OMG, I was just crying at a friggin commercial! It's starts with a Dad sitting in a bridal salon watching his daughter trying on her wedding dress and he has a flashback of her playing dress-up as a little girl and then he plunks down his Chase credit card to pay for her dress. Cut to the church, the doors open and a little girl runs in yelling 'Daddy, Daddy' and then he takes her arm to walk her down the aisle. Cut to the reception and he's watching her dance with her new husband and she looks at Dad sitting at the table alone, as he's writing a check from his Chase account, and asks him to dance and a little girl takes his hand and they walk away. All while Wind Beneath My Wings is playing in the background! OMG!!! I'm glad I didn't see that BEFORE my wedding, I'd be an emotional wreck!!
Just wanted to share my moment of weakness.

DH works for Chase, and was at the launch party for the campaign this afternoon and *he* cried like a baby. In fact, he saw the MOCKUP of the commercial a few weeks ago and cried like a friggin baby.
Furthermore, he just informed me that the Marketing people were crying when they came up with the ad in the first place.
At least you know you're not the only sap.
I haven't even seen the commercial and I cried reading your post!

I just saw it last night and was in tears. I agree if I saw that before my weddings I would have been hysterical! I was an emotional wreck pre-wedding. That commerical is beautiful with all the flashbacks.

I didn't see it. DH always records everything with TiVo and skips the commercials. I get so annoyed because we hardly ever watch TV as it is happening and so we don't even get to see movie coming attractions.
When does this commercial usually air?

Wow...I have to see it. Thank God I didn't see it before the wedding. We watched 'Father of the Bride' a few MONTHS before and Mom and I were in hysterics. I can't handle Daddy/Daughter bridal moments. I barely got through the dance.
