i called beforehand and got the info. i dont remember the prices per se- i didnt want to call, i just wanted the data plan which was ridiculous.

i think the calling plan wasnt horrible. it wasnt great either though. they said just to call a day or two before leaving so they could switch the plan over and call when you come back and they prorate the month.

i ended up having free wifi in the hotel and we skyped on anthonys itouch.

thanks cate! free wifi that you used through your phone? or through the itouch?

if data is cheap, i will just email back home to say we are okay. i dont care about talking. but idk.

they didnt even explain it well when i called. i was half confused but then i found out the hotel had free wifi, i gave up.

and yes we did it thru the itouch. i didnt bother messing with the wifi with my droid when we got there.
