Has your Husband changed since Marraige?.............

This is my biggest fear...........
So far, all that has changed is he shows more respect, which I LOVE

BUT he also thinks I should be more domesticated overnight

It really takes time.. mine has turned into a crazed cleaning man in the kitchen.. i can not even finish cooking dinner before he is following me around withb a sponge...it is so annoying. ... and its only my things.. but he can leave papers all over the house and days later clean them up. I also took me to gain 30 lbs to start cooking better and food shopping more...

But the thing that is better is that we have mutual respect and a very deep love for each other. He is not only my husband but he is my best friend. We argue sometimes,,, but if you don't it can get a little boring. our arguementslast about 15 min tops..

But the little things will happen over time...he should not expect Hpppy homemaker in a month...

My husband is a very neat person.He always was.How does he know if I don't vaccuum for one day? Its unbelievable!

jenn, count your blessings baby, my hubby will cook and leave the kitchen a huge sloppy mess !
or if i cook, im lucky if he helps clean up! (his excuse is the 'outdoor work' that he has to go get to before it gets dark )

I totally love the fact that he cleans but... can't he wait till we finish eating... I cook while he is outside with the pool...
so when he comes in he starts following me with the sponge...

Also he thinks that he can fix things... it took him8 HOURS to change to flappy thing in the toliet and then it is my fault that I am not strong enough to hold the wrnch to keep the screw from moving... that was a fun day...

He gets it from my FIL who thinks that he is a car saleman, meghanic, electrician, pools cleaner, gardner, morgage broker, banker, .. i can kep going...

My dad.. who can i call to fix it..so that is totally me...

so it is intresting when it comes to fixing something.. i always win!

Its all in a good way, but

all of a sudden he's finding stuff in my apartment that need to be fixed. they never bothered me, but apparently 'they have to be done'!!

He spent 40 minuites in Home Depot looking for a knod that broke off a closet door - hmmmm

Yes, in all the years that we dated I never saw him clear his plate from the table or wash a dish. Now he clears off the table, puts the food away and washes the dishes. Its such a big help b/c we don't have room for a dishwasher in our kitchen.

It has only gotten better. Enzo really does not expect much from me other than the usual love, support...etc. We do have are arguments but what relationship doesn't and its usually over stupidity.
