Ok Dina...I'm a big crackhead and actually saved a few posts about this...hehehehe...

When we took ours home, we took off the million flowers and kept it in the box it came in. THEN...I litterally wrapped it in a box of aluminum foil & plastic wrap. I think I over did it, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. Plus I'm dying to eat the cake!

I did the same thing. I lost count of how many layers of plastic wrap and aluminum foil I used. I think though that DH and I will eat it on our 6 month anniversary. We have a side by side fridge/freezer which leaves freezer space to a minimum and it takes up an entire shelf of my freezer.

we ate it on our 1 year...it wasn't terrible- the inside-cake part-that was actually good, but the outside was whipped cream and it tasted very freezer burned..

since we did not have any cake at our wedding beyond the picture we had a slice when we came home from the HM. We saved the rest for our 1 year anniversary.

We ate it on our anniversary. The cake part was freezer burned and very dry and nasty. Icing not too horrible, but we each had 1 bite and threw it out. It was packaged by the hall in a box with a ton of plastic wrap and tin foil.

We ate ours after 3 months. At that point, it was still great. Every time I've tasted a one-year cake (other peoples, I have not had multiple marriages!), it's tasted blah to gross.

We had one bite each. We didn't wrap it very well and it tasted pretty freezer-burnt. I think if we had taken more care in storing it it would have been fine.

DH had wrapped out cake very very well!! Layers of plastic wrap, then tin foil, then a plastic bag. We ate it on our year anniversary, and I have to tell you, it tasted FANTASTIC!!

So did we! Actually, we waited 2 months so that we would have it on our first night in our new 'married' apartment Elaine (my planner) was awesome and wrapped the cake for us in lots of layers of plastic and then tin foil. It was really, really good!

Unfortunately, our cake didn't make the trip down to NC My mom left it in the frig, but everytime I opened the door, I got sad, so I made her throw it away while I wasn't hope. DH said he'll get me a nice cake for our 1 year anniversary.

I am not sure. We don't plan on eating our on Monday, I think it would taste gross, plus I have a senitive stomach, so I don't think it is a good idea.
