It's the freakiest thing... I hit one last night on my way home from work... I am just driving along and the damn thing ran into the side of my car (Front) so I knock it down and run over it... Freaking $2000 in damage to my car. Did you know Jeep Liberty's bounce??? Seriously it went in the air bounced twice and I kept on going down the road. I was like what the hell..... Now I have to wait 2 - 3 until the body shop can get my Jeep done... I miss it already

Aw man thank God youre okay! Man I thought I hit a squirrel once and I felt horrible, I would feel so bad if I hit a deer. Sounds like it ran right into your car!

Glad you are ok- my mom hit one when we were in VA years ago- caved in the front of our minivan & the deer ran away like nothing happened- it went over the hood of the car- crazy

I am ok.. shook up... deer is dead... mush... I feel bad.. DH went out and pulled it out of the middle of the road and searched for pieces of my car... he said it was only a 6 pointer and young.. I was like AWWWW... It happened here in Ohio. I have full coverage but the body shop we use (the best one, yeah i have been hit here before so i knew where to take the car) is way backed up... So I have to wait. I've never hit an animal before so i feel bad.

You were very lucky. I hit one 10 yrs ago and it was a big sucker. He ran away, but I heard they die shortly later. It was over 10k in damage. They sd I was lucky it was hoping. It caught the front and passenger side. Both airbags deployed and I was hurt. Hopefully you have car rental cvg, I wouldn't go w/o it. Hope it all works out for you.

I've only heard nightmare stories, and they are all really bad, you're lucky! The poor deer and your car...uggg so sorry!

Im glad you are okay and feel sad for the deer. At least you are okay though.

glad to hear you are ok, your comprehensive on your policy should cover the damage and the you would have to just pay your deductible

Ughhh so sorry.
I hit one a few years ago. Thank god it was in my grandpas old buick...that car was built like a rock! However it did do some frame damage and I couldnt open the driver side door at all. The deer bounced off the car and landed on the other side of the street. I cried so hard and made my dad come pick me up. So sad. Succker came out of no where, I never even saw it!

Whoaa...scary. I didnt hit a deer but I almost hit a car today, does that count? Idiot driver didnt see me coming on a 55 MPH road and just turned I had to slam on my brakes..i heard streehing and my car started swering...grr..sorry kinda off topic but I had to get it off my chest
