yeah. We got past it and I chalked it up to being a newlywed and 'settling in' differences. Sometimes they are MAJOR differences.

Yes. Settling our $$ differences has been difficult. He is a spender, I am a saver. If we followed his spending habits, we would eat out all the time, and have no $$ to save.
We have been having the same fight over and over about this. Its getting better.

Oh yes! It seems like that's all we did as soon as we got back from our HM! I was all ready to leave, a couple of times. I kept saying to myself 'what the hell did I do'. It's all good now though!

Yes. It is normal. You walk out, clear and cool your head and go back, realizing he is the best thing in your life, even though you might want to punch him in the stomach on occaision.

Maybe once when we first got married. Now we're much better about communicating and really don't argue that much.
I've got to say, if you spend more time fighting/arguing/resenting him, it's time for counseling or to see if this is what you really want. You've posted several times about doubts/resenting DH, etc, and if you feel like maybe you aren't happy, I'd go to counseling. It can only help.
Before my parents got divorced (after 35 years!) she once threw a hot baked potato at his head. In her defense, he really can be a controlling jerk. Someone said to her how strong she must be to leave, and she said, if I didn't leave, I would've killed him! She's now alone, but much happier than she was with him.

Yup, I think it's normal. Living with someone is not always the easiest thing. Sometimes a few hours apart is the best thing in the world.

Did you live togather before getting married? I found that to be a huge adjustment and the cause of a lot of fights. We got that out of the way about 18 mths before the wedding though. Since we've been back from the HM we barely fight but there was a time I didn't think we were going to make it to the wedding!

Yep, we've had a couple of doozies. I also think its growing pains and learning to live together. We did not live together before marriage, so most of our fights are about money and him being sloppy. I've heard that the first year is tough because its a big adjustment and that things settle down after that.

We had those kinds of fights ALOT while we were engaged. There were a couple times where I actually imagined myself throwing something at him or I thought for sure that after that fight, the engagement would be off.
Maybe that was our adjustment period and yours is happening now. We haven't fought like that since getting married though. But we got through those terrible fights and you can get through these.
