Haven't posted much lately, but

I just wanted you guys to know what's been going on.

Adam and I are moving to Delaware in exactly a month. It's because of his job, and really I couldn't be happier! We're going to have an incredible apartment - two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, dining room, DISHWASHER, Washer/Dryer in Unit, for LESS MONEY in rent!!!!!!!! What's even better is that our complex has a seasonal pool and 24/7 Fitness Center! I can't wait girls. It's gonna be Incredible! The floorplan of the new place and pictures of their model are posted at my webblog . Now, if any of you have space ideas PLEASE leave comments!!!!!!!!! Heck, feel free to comment on just about anything on there, just tell me who you are.

That's why I couldn't go to the WOTY today. My Mom is coming into town and she's going to help me get organized for this thing. She'll be here for the next week. Yay Mom! Nevertheless, I'm really sorry I couldn't go be with the rest of you, and Felicia and the rest of the BP - I KNOW you look fantastic and I know can't wait to see pictures!!!! I hope you all are having a Fantastic time!!!

I don't have a job down there yet, but I'm getting my demo together so that I can start submitting it to radio stations between Philly and Baltimore. If anyone has any connections, help is greatly appreciated.

Nevertheless, it's gonna be fantastic down there for us. I'm really optimistic about it.

It's so weird, because, I started looking at real estate web sites for Delaware and Maryland. We are settled in our home, but to be honest, their really isn't anything holding me here. Phil on the other hand would not want to leave here because of his family.

Me, I don't get along with my family, so I would like to think about leaving LI and moving somewhere less expensive in the future.

Thank you! I don't know anyone down there yet, really, but my Mom and Dad recently moved to Baltimore (completely coincidentally) so they'll only be an hour away, and the property manager of our complex is a 20 or 30-something who loves Karaoke!
(I used to do Karaoke almost nightly before I left CT!) So I have a few outlets. I'm also hoping to start taking voice lessons again at U Del - they're a FRACTION of the cost that they are here!

So Yeah, I'm a little scared, to be honest, but it'll be okay.

Where are you going to be living in Delaware?

RIGHT down the street from UDel, in Newark. If you get off 95 at 896 (opposite direction from UDel) and make your first left off 896 and drive for awhile, you'll be at our apt. complex.

Know anyone who's still in the area????

Oh great!

I mean, Baltimore is still an hour from where we'll be, but we'd LOVE to have more local friends.

I am thrilled for you and Adam - this seems like a great move for you guys and something that you are really happy and positive about. And of course I am jealous the apartment It sounds amazing!

I have a good friend who lives in Bear, Delaware - I'm not sure where the heck that is in relation to where you will be living, but they LOVE it down there and bought a gorgeous new home for a fraction of what it would cost here. My friend Lori is originally from DE and her parents are there, and she just had a baby girl last July, so they have a pretty good situation going on

You must try to catch an Orioles game at Camden Yards when the Yankees are in town - you will feel like you are at home, 1/2 the stadium is filled with Yankee fans because they make the short trip to see the games. And Camden is a great place to see a ballgame

PS: turns out I had to drop out as at WOTy and couldn't attend b/c of medical issues So even though you couldn't make it, techncially we didn't 'miss' meeting (yet again). I will gladly come visit you in DE though

Me too! I graduated in 2002 (ugh, has it really been that long already?). It's an easy drive back to LI to see family (3-3 1/2 hours).

Have a drink at Klondike Kates for me!
