Having trouble sleeping

Anyone have any tips? Every night for probably the last 2 months I've been getting up at like 3/4:00 in the morning. I fall back to sleep but it's just the fact that I wake up. Sometimes I have to go sleep on the couch after that because DH's snoring is too much. It's starting to get to me now, I'm so exhausted all the time.

Re: Having trouble sleeping

my MIL suggests melatonin. its a natural supplement to help regulate your sleep. you have to take it the SECOND before you lay down or apparently it won't work right. you have to take it and then lay down!

Re: Having trouble sleeping

I had a really hard time having another person in bed with me when we first got married... I prefered to go to sleep in total darkness around 11pm I would have to get up around 6am but DH liked to stay up & keep the tv on until he fell asleep...finally he stayed up watching The Last of the Mohicans (Have you ever listened to the soundtrack? There's lots of drums!) and I came to work looking like sh*t and then we had to work something out....so long story short, yes, it takes a lot of getting used to when you first get married! But now I can't fall asleep unless he's there & the TV is on!

Also, is there something you're thinking about that's keeping you up? I had severe anxiety when I first moved into my MIL's house after we got married.

Re: Having trouble sleeping

Melatonin works GREAT for us. We are both insomniacs. It's natural, which I like and it really helps to relax you and get you to sleep.

It makes me fall asleep in like 5 minutes (usually)
