I loved the Hyatt in Kauai! The pool was just amazing!but in Maui- the 4 seasons! WOW!!! They spritz you with evian, give you fruit and water while you lay out at the pool. The service is just impeccable!

Kauai- We stayed at the Hyatt and absolutely loved it. We had a great view and it was beautiful. The lobby lounge was a nice plce to sit and have cocktails and snacks. There is music and it is so relaxing.Maui- We stayed at the Four Seasons. Listen you can not go wrong with this Hotel. It is Gorgeous. The service is impecable.
But I felt it was a bit stuffy. I felt out of place for a couple of days and the funny thing is I met another NY'er on our trip when we were waiting for the pool boy to take our names. He was so funny because we were commenting on how nice everything was and He leaned over to me and whispered... 'I don't know about you but when I walk through the lobby I feel like I have no pants on' I just laughed out loud. But really
If you plan on spending a lot of relaxing time at the pool it is really neat because they give you evian spritzes and fruit cool towel etc. But if you want a cabana you have to get up really early, (6AM-6:30) stand by your spot and wait for the pool guy to put your name down for the spot. Seriously I did this 3 times because we wanted the cabana shade. I thought this was crazy too when someone told me but there are really people down there that early claiming the spots.
A MUST DO .... Our best night in Maui was at the FEAST AT LELE. www.feastatlele.com Located in Lahaina on front street.
This was what I would consider a formal Luau. The food was great, the show was awesome! and we had excellent seats. The back drop of the stage is the sun setting. You can't go wrong with this. It was a fantastic night.
DONT WASTE YOUR TIME.with .. The road to Hana... In my opinion was a waste of a day. Unless you are into hiking with the spiny socks and walking sticks you can not get to many of the waterfalls mentioned in the 'Maui Revealed book' Ladies those pedicures will be muddy unless you are wearing sneakers or the special hiking socks.
Honestly the most beautiful part of the road to Hana was the end. The seven pools and the scenic drive at the end were worth it so if you can go backwards.
Any Q's FM me.
