Hawaii Honeymooner Question

Hi Ladies...sorry to jump over here again but for those who went to Hawaii on your honeymoon can you tell me what islands you did, where you stayed and how much total you paid.

We just got a quote for close to $8,000 for two islands (5 nights apiece). Plus I have heard from other friends you spend between $2,000-$4,000 spending money when there....that is just way too much for us....

Any advice I would greatly appreciate...

Thanks

Does the $5,600 include airfare?

Re: Hawaii Honeymooner Question

We stayed at kauai, Maui and oahu. Oahu we definitly could have done without! and then 2 nights in San Fran. We spent about 4000 dollars there. Just a 1 hour helicopter ride in Kauai was 200 per person. Hawaii will more $ then the carribean for sure.

Re: Hawaii Honeymooner Question

I have 2 weeks to go but we are paying $6000 for 11 days - 6 days on Maui, 4 on Kauai and one on Oahu so we can see the USS Arizona Memorial.

We have a car rental on Maui and Kauai and staying at the Hyatt on both islands. Staying at the Outrigger on Oahu. Free b'fast on Maui and Kauai at the hotels.

If you do go, you should book your activities a month in advance. The Lahaina Luau (I'm totally spelling htat wrong) in Maui, billed as an authentic luau books 1 month in advance.

Re: Hawaii Honeymooner Question

We paid $5600 for 13 nights.
5 nights in Kuaui at the Sheraton
2 nights in Oahu at the Hyatt
6 nights in maui at the Four Seasons
We had a standard size car rental in Kuaui
and a Convertible in maui.
Also, I agree with Maribelle...if you want to go to a Luau you should book it in advance.
We went to the Feast at Lele and booked it over a month in advance...although it wasn't that great and bit expensive so i wouldn't recommend that one. if you have anymore questions feel free to FM me

Ps...We did spend another $4,000 when we were down there for food and excersions

Re: Hawaii Honeymooner Question

Paid $5900 for 3 nights at Outrigger in Oahu. 4 nights at Sheraton in Kauai (HIGHLY RECOMMEND) and 3 nights in Sheraton in Maui. We booked the luau and a horseback riding excursion before we got there. Get the entertainment book, TONS of great savings. We only spent $1000 while there.
