Hawaiian honeymooners that stayed or ate at the Hyatt in Maui or Kauai

DH loved the drink that the Hyatt in Maui made called a Mango Banana Rush (or Banana Mango Rush). Did anyone ask the bartenders how it was made? I meant to and I forgot. I don't remember the Kauai Hyatt's making them.

I did a search awhile ago online but I do not recall seeing the recipe. If no one knows, I am going to call the Hyatt and find out.

I am looking to make them for our 6 month anniversary which is coming up soon. We are such lazy toads that we haven't even seen our home made videos from Hawaii so we are going to eat Ahi or Mahi Mahi and drink our Hawaiian drinks and watch the videos in honor of our HM.

TIA!

OMG did anyone get the 'back-scratcher' (that had an actual backscratcher in it)? DH got hilariously drunk on them one night and carried all these backscratchers around with us ALL night...

I wanted to go there but to be honest I was so tired on our HM that half the time I just wanted to SLEEP. We'd come home from dinner and I was wiped. I had a really busy week before the wedding with his family arriving daily. I told DH we will go back soon so we can go to all the places we didn't get to the last time.

Re: Hawaiian honeymooners that stayed or ate at the Hyatt in Maui or Kauai

Kristin I felt so bad for DH but I was sooo tired the whole time. So many things I wanted to do and half the time by 8pm I was falling asleep. The last night in HI we were in Oahu. I fell asleep at 5pm and said I would be up at 7pm for dinner. I woke up at 10pm. And DH was mad at me. [email protected] me up then! He totally wants to go back (even move there...I'm thinking about it) so once we buy a house we'll see what our finances are like.

Re: Hawaiian honeymooners that stayed or ate at the Hyatt in Maui or Kauai

This is so funny! We just got back from HM last night. You guys just gave me so many flashbacks of the past 11 days!

Does anyone remember the Passion Drink in Maui? Not the Poipu Passion from Kaui. What about the Shipwrecked Surfer at Kauai? We were going to write them down but never did.

We also loved Stevensons Library!

We thought there was something wrong with us because we were both so tired the first 5 nights on Maui that we were in bed at 9pm!

We drank plenty of Lava Flows (Pina Colada with strawberry sauce in the bottom of the glass)

I forgot to take my back scratcher home!

I want to go back right now!!!
