We are kinda on diets now so we are trying to eat somewhat healthy during the weekdays now.

Monday: chicken rolled over fresh asparagus in a lemon wine sauce with parmesan flakes with brown rice seasoned with fresh herbs. Dessert pineapple upside down cake which Dh wanted and ate alone.

Tuesday: Didn't make dinner had a tasting at CLM for a company event, since we got married there I was offered to join the tasting since I recommended the hall. Gave DH leftovers BUT I went home to cook lunches of:
Pork with onions, apples and cranberries with a side of mashed potatoes made from chicken stock (not butter or milk) and peas and carrots as a side for lunch/dinner for Wens.

Wens: see above along with a dessert of fresh apples and blueberries baked in tiny dishes with fat free cool whip. I used pear juice to sweeten the fruit along with some splenda.

Thurs: Stuffed cabbage, ground chicken as the stuffing, brown rice, carrot and onion in a tomato sauce. Side salad. Dessert we might have since dh is working late so ice pops maybe IoI

Friday: Buffalo steaks (bison), bbq in gemilies sauce grilled along with some corn on the cob and baked potatoes.

Sat/Sun: not sure yet depends if people come over to eat like they usually do.

i normally dont plan it ahead of time, depending on dh's mood that day, he changes his mind

On monday dh actually cooked, he made homemade sauce with sausage and pork, and i boiled rigatoni for it

tuesday he played softball and came home late so he just wanted domino's

last night he just wanted steak with macaroni and cheese

tonight i have no clue. I think ill get shrimp, make a sauce for the shrimp and maybe with rice and beans since dh always wants that

but im trying to eat healthy now, so gonna try to stay away from some things

does anyone else have a problem with their DH always wanting the same things.

Ill suggest to make something different but NO he wants the same few things all the time. It drives me nuts sometimes. I think i am just gonna stop asking him what he wants for dinner lol

I don't ask DH what he wants for dinner. he's pretty good about it and eats whatever I make. i try to be healthy (i'm the picky one) so I make a lot of chicken and vegetales. I also find that steaks and a lot of other meats are just so expensive. DH doesn't seem to mind...we both agree its silly to spend so much on grocerys when we are happy with chicken and pastas! lol

dh is so picky, even at home when his parents used to make dinner if dh wasnt in the mood for it he wouldnt eat it. He would order something instead. Last time i had steak leftover and i said im just gonna make the steak and he said he didnt want it since he ate steak not long ago lol. I cant really get mad bc im the same way, sometimes im really not in the mood for something and i just wont eat it.

pasta he has to be in the mood for, he grew up in a family that ALWAYS made homemade sauce, eating lots of pasta and homemade italian food so he is kinda sick of it. He did make sauce the other day but thats also bc we havent had it that much. At first i was making alot of chicken or shrimp and now he never wants chicken anymore bc he said he is sick of it, we had it too much. Hes so difficult hahaha. He has been wanting steak alot lately, about once or twice a week, but thats bc i used to never make steak and he hadnt eaten it in a while. I wish i could just cook whatever but if hes not in the mood for it he wont eat it lol. I used to be the same way with my mom so i cant blame him haha

i don't ask dh either. i said i was going to make something. he said that doesn't sound, don't make it. i made it about 2 weeks later and said it was delicious. he doesn't remember saying not to make it.

Thanks for all these good ideas.
Here's my menu:

Tues-Goat cheese and tapenade stuffed chicken breasts with couscous (chicken recipe from Weight Watchers Shortcut cookbook).

O please tell me this recipe... Is it olive tapenade?

I would definitely continue asking him..lol...b/c it would stink for you to make something and have him just not eat it!
