Hello! I need help on where to go for our anniversary. It is at the end of this month, but we just got back from DR not even a week ago. Can anyone suggest somewhere that is driveable and just for the weekend?

We are going to the Bronx Zoo. I have never been so we are getting a hotel room sat night 10/04 and going to the zoo all day Sunday 10/05

how bout the Catskills? find a nice bed & breakfast or inn......your anniversary is when the leaves start to change a bit, it'll be nice up there......or you could do Mystic CT- I think both Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods are near there.

How about Newport, RI? We just got back from our 2 night anniversary stay there. Loved it!!!
Lots of great restaurants, shopping, see a mansion or two if you have time, or take a romantic walk along the Cliff Walk.
We took the Cross Sound Ferry from Orient, it only takes about an hour from New London, CT to get to Newport.
