I went this morning... If you are a Brooklyn Resident you MUST go to the SS office in Brooklyn. They open at 7:30 am. They let me in early and I was out in 10 mins. All I needed was my Marriage Cert from the city with my new Surname on it. They didn't ask me for anything else.

I used that one too b/c I work in Brooklyn. I had a car so it was a PITA but once inside, it was a pleasure. I was in and out quickly and they were very nice to me. It helps to have all of your roriginal documents with you.

It's a MUST for ALL Brooklyn residents, regardless of how close a local offic may be to you.

There are only 2 places in the US that require this...Vegas and Brooklyn. There's no way of getting around it.

Went to the Fulton SS office, right after work (they're open til 7 on Thursdays) and I was in and out in a matter of 10 minutes. I would recm'd going there on Thursday's between 6 and 7!

I should get my card w/in 2 weeks, and then I can head to the DMV and everything else!

OMG!!! I was at License Express this morning too!!!!

It wasn't that bad was it? I was there at 8:30 am... Got to work a bit late but thankfully no one noticed!!!
