Help me surprise DH!

Our plans got cancelled for tomorrow night...so I thought I'd surprise him with something.

Does anyone have some cool ideas for someplace new that we could go to tomorrow night (not overnight, just the night)?

Some background info:

Dinner can be part of it...but we eat out all the time, so I don't want that to be the main focus.

We are not big city people, and we don't like crowded places in general. We could make an exception for the city, if it isn't too crowded.

I just want to do something different!

how about a comedy show at governor's in levittown or something?

or if you want something fun but low-key, how about dave & busters?

ETA: or maybe you can find one of those 2-3 hour dinner & dancing cruises

Karaoke? ( i love karaoke lol). Or maybe a wine bar?

There is an indoor park set up in the city at a gallery called 'open space'....google it! I've never been but I've heard cool things! They have grass and you can pack a picnic dinner and wine!

oooohhhh thanks for posting C!! I heard about it on the radio and then I heard a few co-workers talking about it but I couldn't imagine what it was really like and I never got around to googling myself!

i did my bach party there.
we had a blast! it has carnival games, a dance floor, a lounge.

the only bleh thing about it... you have to climb 6 stories worth of stairs to get in... but to leave you can take an elevator.
i swear by the 3rd landing i was done. i was like 'okay, lets party here i'm not going any further'
in sneakers i dont think it'd be that bad.. but in heels--- NEVER AGAIN!

This would be the coolest place ever for a TTD shoot. I wanna go!!

Sorry though, I'm useless for ideas for something to do! lol!

if you're anywhere near deer park there's a new monster mini golf on commack road. its indoor/black light mini golf. DH and I did it in canada on our honeymoon.. we had fun.
you can catch a movie at tanger, and grab something to eat.

eh, ruby tuesdays is across the street.
in tanger there's choptle, johnny rocket and nathans.
on grand blvd there's bellissimo (my 2 BILs rave about it, i haven't been)
um, further north on commack road there's a place called maninos . DHs cousins wifes brother owns it, i just went to the one in oakdale on sunday for a shower... omg it was AMAZING!
so if you take jericho to commack road, head south, its on your right about a quarter of a mile down.
then you have to continue a few miles to get to tanger and minigolf.

um, there's also a place called ludlow bistro on deer park ave, the moms at my dance studio RAVE about it there.

and finally there's millers ale house in the tanger lot.
