I like the look of #1 better, but instead of covering your faces with the tilted pic maybe keep the whole pic faded so you can see your faces. Then put the regular (not faded) pic to the right in the open space by the staircase... or you can use another pic of the 2 of you in that spot. Make sense? Just an idea!
But, either way my vote is for #1. That is a great picture of you 2... love your dress!
