Help! The best place to get bridal gown/bridesmaid dresses?

I am pretty sure of the dress I want to get (Mon Cheri).. I was thinking about getting it from Adrienne's, but after some of the things I've read.. I'm not so sure about that...

Can anyone recommend somewhere that you have had a good experience with?

As far as Im concerned, the only place a bride should order dresses from is the net. The cost is almost half of what it is retail! And everyone can have it tailored for much less than what a salon will charge on their own.

We used netbride. The dress retailed for $250 plus alterations and tax. We got them for $150 no tax and had them altered at a local good tailor for cheap.

I didn't get a Mon Cheri, but I had a good experience at Bridal Reflections in Carle Place, if you make an appoitment ask for Michelle - she's great!

I've seen Mon Cheri at RK Bridal (I went here to look once) here's the link http://www.rkbridal.com/ there are discounted dresses, because there isn't too much service as a bridal salon - you go and pick out the gowns of the rack yourself.

I got my dress at Angel Bridals. They where great to work with.

I totally agree with sonicstef,
Netbride.com is GREAT, my girls got there dresses for so much less there, I think they paid about $130 something for a dress that was over $200 in the stores, it is great, and SUPER fast!!!!!

definitely look into it, you will save your girls a ton of money and that is a very good thing,

Bridesave.com is another good one. I wish I had ordered my dress on there, would've saved about $300.

In regard to bridal salons though, every one has had great reviews and terrible reviews. I ended up getting my dress at Bridal suite of Patchogue and I panicked because I heard TERRRIBLE stories afterward, but I didn't have any problems with them at all. My dress came in exactly when they said it would and I was cutting it real close in terms of time...
