Help the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society!

Hi Ladies!

I've been super crazy since the wedding so I haven't posted much, but I've definitely lurked--you all looked AMAZING (at your weddings and at TWOTY!).

DH and I have been training for a half marathon through Team in Training to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. We've both set a fundraising goal of $2,000 ($4,000 as a team!). We're about halfway there, but if we don't raise more money soon, one or both of us is going to have to drop out!

Every year, nearly 1 million Americans are affected by blood cancers, and it's a kind of cancer that hits kids especially hard.

I know we're all poor newlyweds, but if you can give us ANYTHING, we'd greatly appreciate it! You can help us out

I did Team in Training back in 2008 and it was an amazing experience!!! A great fundraising idea - host a happy hour! I found a bar in the city that was willing to collect donations at the door and then wrote a check to LLS at the end of the event and it was a great help.

Thanks for the suggestion! We both live and work in NJ, but a lot of my friends work in the city so I think I'm going to try to set this up.
