Would you believe that I still have shower/congratualtion/engagement presents that are brand new, not out of the box, and I haven't been able to put them to use? I am sorta anti-clutter since my mom was a pack rat..so I was hoping SOMEONE I knew would get married soon!
Any of you out there still holding on to these items? (I dont think I will need to buy a picture frame/crystal vase/crystal candy dish for the next 25 years!)
Not to sound ungrateful, but I need to find homes for these items.
Had one very remote friend send us a Micky & MInnie cake topper 2 months after the wedding (Mickey=Not our style)
It is beautiful- just not us. Any one know someone who may want it?

to goodwill...they will sell it to someone and use the money for needy people on LI and you can deduct it from your taxes...

At this point I think I could have my own garage sale and the revenue could help out with our home office purchases.
My hubby works for a mental health unit that has a gift shop and we both have donated a LOT of gently used clothes, books,handbags,etc. The clients learn to budget their $$ and buy their necessities there.
