Which Bridal and Bridesmaid designers do you like best? And what is the price range that you went by when shopping for gowns for both you and your BM's?

of course i am going to say St. Pucchi bc that was who made my dress.. I loved my wedding gown- it was me to a T and i cant picture myself wearing anything else.I hated all bridesmaid dress designers because i thought that some were overpriced compared to the quality. i got my girls evening gowns instead.

I found the same problem with bridesmaid dresses too. I felt bad making them spend that $$ but they looked AWESOME.

Re: Hey girlies can we talk weddings again? Like GOWNS!!
Maggie Sottero or Lazaro are my favorite designers. Lazaro was out of my price range though. I usually told salons that I had a budget of up to $1500. Village Bridal and Paradise Bridal were excellent with helping me adhere to it. If I even looked at a dress over $1500 they let me know it, which I very much appreciated.BM gowns suck though. They are so overpriced. I really like Jim Hjelm but they were so pricey. We went with B2 by Jasmine and they were nice enough for the price.

Maggie Sottero. No matter the style I think she makes beautiful dresses. I went with a Maggie dress that was more slender...but if I was to do the big poofy dress it definitely would have been one of hers.

I love love love my Lazaro and all lazaro gowns for that matter. But I also love Kenneth Pool dresses, Pnina, and Monique Luhlier (sp?)I loved the Jim Hjelm BM dresses, but my girls asked if they could purchase off the rack dresses instead, I didnt mind at all, so we ended up with BCBG gowns. They were happy b/c even though they spent a little extra they will absolutely wear them again. i was happy b/c the dresses were great, and they were happy.

I wish my BMs wanted to purchase off the rack, I mentioned it to them but they didn't seem keen on the idea.
Monique Lhullier is another fave. Absolutely stunning gowns!

Since I got my dress from Priscilla of Boston, I'm definitely a fan of theirs - specifically the Priscilla, Platinum and Jewel lines, and a few Melissa Sweet dresses too.I'm a Kenneth Pool, Pnina and Pronovias dress fan also... some gorgeous dresses out there!

My dress is by Rivini and I happen to really adore most of her dresses! I tend to love a very romantic look when it comes to wedding dresses and she works with lace a lot. Not sure her range but mine was pricey because of the type of lace...My BMs wore Jenny Yoo! I picked the fabric (silk shantung) the color (cranberry) and the length (long) and each of my 7 BMs got to pick their own gown! This really got everyone super involved and kept everyone really happy! Her range is between 225 and 350 but we got ours on sale because the color was discontinued!

The only dresses I kept coming back to were Monique Lhuillier's. They do sell them in high-end shops, like the Wedding Salon of Manhasset.ETA: I purchased mine in Saks in NYC but also tried them on at the Wedding Salon. And Mark Ingram, maybe.
