Yes I reading it now, I have just the last section left.

Did you read it?

I really want to like it but it just isn't my favorite book by him. He is too nice now and nice does not equal funny. I think he set the standard so high with his other books though so it would have been hard for it to be my favorite if you know what I mean, but it is still an enjoyable read.

Exactamundo! I just finished it yesterday, and while there were some UPROARIOUSLY funny 'bits' it was a bit too 'poignant' at times for my taste really. All this reflection and introspection... NOT what I go to dave for YKWIM?

Anyhoo forget it, i was going to mail the book to you (i'm nesting/downsizing) but I see I'm too late!!!!

Anyone want my copy of not-David Sedaris'-best-work?
FM me your home or office addy!!!

YES a lot of the stories I thought were written by Stuart Smalley they were all about feeling good and being a good person. With all his other books I can think of parts that stood out to my as hysterical but in this one I am just a little bit .

I hope the smoking section is good I am going to read it tonight. How jealous are you of my awesome Friday night!
