Did you decide if you're gonna stop being lame @sses and come to the GTG!!! Ryan and I have it all worked out........I'll drive us to Ryans, where she will then take over and take us to Queens!!! All you have to do is enjoy the ride!!! PLEASE!

Mine as well. I really think it would be better if we changed the venue to Nassau. I was thinking we should do Dave and Busters in Westbury, which is similar to Play. We would be more than happy to pick up any city girls from the Mineola station 10 minutes away! This way, everyone can come, since the majority of people are Nassau/Suffolk. It is a good middle ground for everyone, because it is halfway.

I think we really should pick a date for city GTG and all meet in the city. I am more than happy to make suggestions and this way we can do it on a day that is better for everyone.

It is going to be a really long day for all of us and it is really too much for some of those who are far east. Personally, I really want to go, but in reality, no matter what, I will have an incredibly long drive to the Hamptons. With everything going on with my health, I am afraid that I will be too tired and in pain to drive home and I don't want to take that chance.

I think the Queens idea would work better on a Saturday when people are mostly off from work and we wont be so tired.

The 'bachelerotett/Bride' can't go to Nassau. Yesi said Saturday is out for her. Thats why she suggested Play in the first place.

I agree. Unfortunately this time, most people are from Suffolk. It is really not easy to drag that far, especially for those who live far and then have to drive home after the carpool. The nature of a GTG is such that not everyone can be accommodated and in the case of a last minute, we really have to go with the best option for the majority. We can all try our best, but you can't please everyone. All we can do is try our best and plan more GTGs in different areas so everyone has an opportunity to meet.

I was willing to come from Western NJ...I was willing to take the LIRR but the point was that all the GTGs have been in LI but it was going to be nice to have it closer to other girls who are just as active and who have never gone to a gtg.

THAT is the point-You however said its not worth your time. I never said such a thing.

But I thought Taryn suggested it? When we first decided this, I said yes because it was going to be on LI. Queens is a bit far for many of us who originally planned to go to a GTG. Personally, I was discussing a city GTG for the other people who can't make LI GTGs. And no one is stopping anyone else from planning GTGs. The more the merrier! This way we get to met everyone!

Yes, I did say that. And I understand that its a trip for you girls, but its also a trip for us-hence why i always agree with the meet in the middle. Because some people have a long trip and some dont.

I understand that you feel left out, but if it was in suffolk would you be willing to make the trip? Its not being left out its not wanting to make the trip. Its a long trip I understand that-but its also a long trip for us too and it seems like those that are in QUeens or the area want to burn us for not wanting to make the trip but you dont want to either.

I posted it more than once; after posts by you, Heather, and others and no one paid it any mind ALTHOUGH posts BEFORE mine in the thread were quoted and answered. So yes. I WAS willing to meet halfway but doesn' seem that was the same feelign all around.

I don't think most of us even agreed on Play, because it is out of the way. I think the original idea was Nassau but somehow it was decided without consulting everyone involved that it would be Play. As much as I would love to do that, it is really not feasible for many of us..

Kath was ok with Play and since she was organizing it, thats why we all said YAY we can finally go. But then the drama started and the poor chick is stressed and its not fair to her.
