Did any of you girls get married there?? My brother and his fiance just booked there! 9/7/2012.

When we went they told us they do not do tastings so Im just wondering how the food is there?

Congrats to your brother and FSIL! Despite having grown up in Woodbury I've actually never been to a wedding at CH BUT I do know it is SO gorgeous! If you you guys need and local/Woodbury related advice don't hesitate

I got married there! We loved the food and so did our families. Our guests raved about it too.

i do know for a fact that they do not allow food tastings - their theory - they go on reputation and that should be enough.
this is JMO, and not meant to offend anyone's feelings - but, i have been to more than 5 weddings at the Crest Hollow and the food was, again, IMO, not the greatest. CH food was great and so was the VH but not the main entrees.
The decor and the overall look of the place is gorgeous though

I've never been to a wedding there, but I've been to many corporate events there and IMO, I've always enjoyed their food. Nothing stands out to me (these were luncheon type events), but I certainly don't ever remember feeling disappointed.

Just make them make sure they are thorough when reviewing their menu options to make sure the foods will be to their taste and expectations based on descriptions and what the RH can tell them about the meals!

We didn't book there but we did a tasting there. I really enjoyed the food.

I was pleasantly surprised by the food...I thought it was awesome !! Even my foodie friends said they loved everything from the CH to the dessert

Thanks girls!! I appreciate your feedback. CHCC will have a showcase in Sept so we're thinking we'll get to taste some food then. We've heard great things so far.

had our prom there, loved the place it was just far when i was booking for a wedding. food was good and I liked the grounds.

We were not having a kosher wedding and they allowed us to a do tasting.

I did a food tasting there a few months ago and went to their last showcase, which didn't really have any food. I think the tasting is dependent on who your BM is. Mine was didn't want to do it at first and said that we didn't need it and their reputation is that they have great food. But we insisted, since we did a tasting at another location that we were literally about to book and really didn't like the food, so we canceled that whole thing. When we tasted the food at Crest Hollow we loved it and decided to book there!
