Highlites

Sooooooo I have been thinking lately and I think I am going to get highlites.
Now, I just have to find a good place that doesnt charge an arm and a leg.
So for those that get your hair highlited, please post the place and the name of the person that does it for you, ball park price and if you get the cap or foil highlites.

well my regualar colorists are in maine. So that wont help you. But I think they are worth the drive! LOL.
But I have had foils done at Hair Express at Hofstra and they do a good job. And the price is pretty good. I think around $65. And I had them done once at Maximus, and they did a good job. More money though!! I have tried like 10 places in the 8 years I have lived in NY and havn't found a place to rave about yet. but those 2 I have been happiest with.
Although once I went to Hair Express and only got color and they wanted to charge to dry my hair! Apparently that is normal here as it happened to me at Warren Tricomi as well. As artists, you would think they would want to make sure they did the color correctly and see the final product!
