since we're listing our favorite holiday songs..what are our fave. holiday movies???

of course a Christmas Story!! i love the 24hr. marathon!

My faves: Elf, Charlie Brown Christmas!, The Santa Clause

...when i was little i always used to watch 'It almost wasn't christmas this year'...some cheesy made for tv movie that i taped and watched all the time! lol.

EMMET OTTER'S JUGBAND CHRISTMAS!!!
It was my fave as a kid and will always be my fave. I'm a Muppet/Jim Henson fanatic, what can I say? I knew DH was special when he knew what I was talking about when I brought up that movie!
I started to show it to my students last year- I hope they start to love it the way I did. I tried to get my nephew into it but it didn't quite click yet.

It was shown on HBO in the late 70's/early 80's. And yes I remember when it was on back then. Then I think they brought it back on Nickelodeon in the 90's. That's when my boyfriend and I at the time taped it and watched it til we had every word memorized!! It has great songs and it's just so sweet! But I guess it's really special to those who remember it as a child. I hope you love it! It's not that easy to find!

ETA: I also remember liking Muppet Christmas Carol- but like I said I LOVE the Muppets!
