I knew it was gonna happen eventually with all the talk that he had stopped cancer treatments and was gonna go home to die...but its still so sad...he really was a classic hollywood actor.

So sad, I loved him as an actor, as well as a man, he did so much WITH his fame, starting the Hole in the Wall camps, and his animal food line, and still managed to have one of the longest 'hollywood marriages' EVER. He was my mom's 'pin up' when she came to the US in the 60's and my Dad had the same crystal blue eyes and strong jaw, he still reminds me so much of my Dad
Today's 'movie stars' just don't have a fraction of his substance, its such a shame...

i was saddened to wake up to this news. Paul newman was and always be a legendary actor. hollywood has lost an icon. he will be truly missed. my thoughts go out to his family and friends..

gosh, i always loved him. hated to hear the news. he was such a great actor and seemed to be a great guy. i always thought he was so handsome, even as an older man but wow, so beautiful when he was younger.
ps, LOVE his fruit salsas, esp mango salsa!

He was such a beautiful person on the inside as well as the outside. He will definetly be missed.

I'm sad to find out yesterday that he passed away. He was a wonderful actor and a great humanitarian. I will continue to support 'Newman's Own' products, which 100% of the proceeds goes to charity.
