I know there was just a thread about this....regarding Oheka

But why do people get all defensive and panties twisted up their rumps when someone makes a comment on their hall? ESPECIALLY when you arent even being nast???

I mean, shiit I heard things about my hall-I didnt get all pissy about it-i took the information to the hall and brought it to their attention

I agree.. It's just a fancy party. I think people get too wrapped up in their wedding planning & the celebration rather than the SACRAMENT that is taking place. Marriage is a life long deal.. The party & reception hall is nothing in comparison..

It doesn't really bother me what people think or say about my hall. My husband and I loved our hall and that's what was most important. My whole point is. . .if you would like to 'help' then why not just post on the ORIGINAL thread instead of forming a new thread?

I don't think she was replying in direct response to the Oheka one but the one about GIorgios...where she stated her opinion on two weddings she went to there and suddenly people got SO defensive about it....& she was literally just stating her opinion and it wasn't even bad.

That would piss me off too...& I'd come over onto the newlywed board and post about it.

I think its worse NOW because theres even more fuel being added to the fire. The miscommunication & the angry bride has trickled over here onto a post that was meant as a simple vent..

I guess you must be refering to the thread that I posted that I get upset when people speak badly about my hall.
I feel entitled to have my opinion and it makes me upset when people say stuff like I heard this and I heard that when they have not even been there. It was such a great experience for me and I feel a connection with the place I got married. So in turn I get upset when people make stupid comments when they have never even been there. Thats all. I dont feel bad for posting that, thats how I feel and I think its normal. I got a lot of GREAT responses from girls who feel the same way as I do. Anyway I said my piece and I feel like I feel and I dont care what others think.

staceylacey, I'm pretty sure that she wasn't talking about your thread ... I think she was referring to the thread about Georgio's on BHB today ....

The whole thing is no big deal. Everyone feels differently and thats fine. I think what Peg did was not explain which thread it was so It could have been about different people including me. Anyway no harm no foul I think we should just drop it.
