Stacey I wasnt referring to your thread at all. I was referring to the thread that everyone else posted about Giorgios. I know people are allowed to have your own opinon-like I said I heard things about my hall before I was married-except I would take it and go to the hall with it.
Not get defensive about it. No I have NEVER heard anything bad about CB....I hadnt...until I came on LIW and I took it to my BM and we went over the issues.
I wasnt being mean, I was stating that these were things I noticed that maybe they should be aware of and take to the BM at Giorgios so that they can be propertly informed.
My wedding is over and done with-I enjoyed the hell out of myself-no Im not going to get all defensive about it, I can only state what I as a guest experienced and if someone asks I will tell.
Just like you said-if you have never been there then zip it, well to say the food is amazing and you are the first to say a bad thing about them is ridiculous-Ive read a bad comment or 2 on every hall.
Us as brides are not always 100% aware of what our guests think-of course they had a great time, of course the food was good-but how often does a guest tell you the food at your wedding was bad? Or the service was horrible? Im not saying to you in general-Im saying guests in general will NOT ruin that for a bride. And like I said, Im sure there was at least 1 person at my wedding and anyone elses that didnt care for the food, or didnt like the hall, or thought the service ******. Do I know about it? Nope. That is the only reason I posted to that thread-was so the Giorgio brides of the future could take it and use it to better their wedding. Not to hurt anyones feelings-I wasnt nasty, I wasnt mean, I didnt say the place ******-I actually complimented the place-but of course that gets passed over![]()

peg i just have to say that i didn't think there was ANYTHING wrong with what u wrote about giorgios. You had been there & were just stating ur experience in a really nice way - AND backed it up with great comments as well. i kept reading it over & over trying to figure out if there was anything u could've said that offended her and really there was NOTHING! lol. u had BEEN there & were just stating ur opinion in a helpful way. u think the brides would be like 'wow thanks so much for the info - i had no idea' and bring it to their BM's attention...that's what i did anyway. i DO have a problem when people haven't been to the place & they're all 'i heard this & blah blah blah'..that's just rude & annoying. but if ur writing from ur own experience to help someone out i just dont get what the attitudes are for???![]()
