HOME SWEET HOME

i'm home from florida. i had a wonderful time. of course the waterworks started when i said goodbye to my mom. i left florida where it was sunny in the 80's. i was in shorts all week. i come home to the crummy foggy weather. the trip was what i needed. my mom is doing great. she had the surgery 3 weeks ago and is moving around pretty good. today she got the okay to drive. everyone can't believe how well she's moving around. the last shift is down there now.

to celebrate me coming home, dh got tickets to see pat benatar tonight. his boss is even letting him leave early today.

she did great. she performed for about 2 hours. even though i was tired from my trip, i'm glad dh suggested going to it. some of the people that were there weren't even born when she started. that made me feel old
