Well, this past weekend, we finally started the process of cleaning and preparing our house for us to move in soon. We are hoping to be in by the end of February. It is so much work, but it is so exciting!! I am very relieved to have the closing process behind us - all the waiting on lawyers and title search was ridiculous. It took us almost 3 months to close...of course, some of that was b/c of the holidays. Thank goodness our mortgage company was super efficient - even our attorney was impressed by how quick they were with everything!
Here's a pic (from the real estate listing) of our new home. We'll be cutting the trees in front of the living room windows this coming weekend!

Claud, who was your attorney? The sellers of our home had a wonderful attorney (ours blew) who lives in St. James, and we took his card for future use. Wonder if it's the same one???

You're going to love it here! I love every single thing about this neighborhood ~ especially St. James Day! It's in September... Paul will love it!

Its in early June ! I'll let you know the day ! I'm sure youve been to it. They fill up Main street with vendors, pony rides, entertainment (DJ) and also a few kids choir groups or acting groups perform, and a few other things..its fun !
