I bought a pizza stone from pampered chef and looooove it. I usually use the pillsbury pizza crusts when making homemade pizza.

We have the same pizza stone and LOVE IT! You can DEF use a cookie sheet though and don't worry if the shape of it doesn't work to what you want, ours are never perfectly round. Also, yes, we use flours on the pizza stone with some oil and then oil the crust of the outside of the pizza before putting it in the oven.
