How many houses did you look at before you placed an offer? How many houses did you place an offer on before you went into contract?
DH and I just put an offer on a second house - the first one, the owner decided to take it off the market.
Just wondering how long it took everyone else!!!!

On my first outing we placed an offer, but the homeowner wasn't budging, so we looked at 20-25 more and never placed an offer until I finally found 'the one' in Massapequa! Started looking last July, closed in November.

They called back with a counteroffer and we counteroffered back LOL - this is really stressful (but fun)
I don't know if I'm more scared they will accept it or that they won't hahah

We probably looked at about 20 houses. We only put an offer on 1 and it was accepted. We're in contract right now. It's a crazy process, but I cannot wait until it's over and I can move into my new home!
