Hot topic- - Would you want your DH to be in the ...............

delivery room with you when you are having a baby?

There are a lot of discussions of how it affects men and sex life. I have heard different opinions and was wondering what other girls think.....

I think I would want him to be with me, he is a doctor anyway

however i do not want his head farther south checking out the watermelon coming out of a hole the size of a lemon

i have threatened to fart and poop everywhere if he does.

i can only imagine how it will be when i one day am preggo

I don't even want to be in the delivery room when i am having a baby so he better be there. In a perfect world I would be knocked out around the 8 month mark and woken up when the kid is 2. That way i could avoid all the pain and sleepless nights

definitely. I'm a doctor and have delivered plenty of babies myself during my OB rotations. It's amazing!!! I want DH to be in the room and to tape the whole thing so that I can watch it later.

I would definitely want him there with me for support. I don't think I feel bad if he gets grossed out or anything- at least he's not the one going through all the pain! All he has to do is see it!

An 08er crashing. I look at it this way. If I can stand all the pain and do all the work he can stand next to me and walk me through it. Now it is his choice whether he wants to watch the actual birthing or not!!!

I definitely want him to be there with me, and he wants to be too. We both agreed, however, that he will stay near my head only!!!

Dh has been at every appointment so far and he WILL be in the delivery room. I can't imagine him not wanting to be there. But even if he gets cold feet he can't back out. He has no excuse since I will be induced. There is no he couldn't make it in time
