We live about 15 minutes, my husband wanted to buy the house across the street from them! I love them but 15minutes is perfect!!

We're about 1 hr. from inlaws, and about 1.5 hrs from my dad. Wish it wasn't quite so far.

I live about 10 minutes. BIL live 5 minutes away. They never bother us so it is ok.

1 1/2 hours away from my parents

but about 4 miles from inlaws which i guess will come in handy when we have kids!

7 minutes from my mom and 15 minutes from my inlaws. My stepfather has been diagnosed with cancer and my mom doesn't drive so we are moving into my parent's basement apartment in February to make sure that they are OK. Plus they will be charging ups dirt cheap rent so we can save for a house.

Thank goodness my husband gets along with my mother and stepfather. We will have a separate entrance so I think it should work out Ok.

I live about 12 feet away from my MIL and SIL. They have the house next door. My own parents are about 64 miles away.

But that will all change within the year, when we move back to the Island. We hope to be about half-way between each set of parents. So we're going to look for houses in Northport, East Northport. That will put us about 30 or so miles from Patchogue, and 30 or so miles from the Bronx.
