We didnt do anything crazy

Celebrated our anniversary on Saturday-DH got me the most gorgeous Roses I have ever seen!
Sunday we had a late night BBQ at a friends house and party. Today we did nothing, our normal 'sunday' chores, cleaning, laundry etc.

Sat - took the dogs to the park, helped DH cut down a tree in our backyard, fixed a bunch of things in the house I've been neglecting, grilled for dinner

Sun - took a ride to the North Fork, DH shaved our dogs, i mowed the lawn...very exciting times out here in the Hamptons...

Mon - went to our town's Memorial Day parade...which passed us in like 15 minutes...haha...and then caught up on some work

Its STILL the Hamptons though I wish we lived near the beach. We have the Jersey shore but can you believe DH and I have never been there together? I intend for that to be one of our trips this year.

Friday DH and I had an awesome date night (movies, dinner, and then dessert from a cute bakery)

Saturday I went to my cousin's Sweet 16 with my family (DH was working )

Sunday I chillaxed - much needed. Did some chores and errands, then I babysat my cutie niece in the evening. Watched a Barbie movie, played Guess Who, etc. LOVE my niece!!!

Monday I went shopping with my parents to the Woodbury Commons outlets - spent the day with my mom and dad, used a giftcard I got at Christmas so it was cool.

Unfortunately, the weekend went by WAYYYY too quickly - definitely not enough time to get everything done I would have liked.

had a bday party for grandma on saturday, a wedding at the riveria on sunday and a after party after the wedding, then a family bbq for the wedding on monday.

Everyone else sounds like they had a pretty nice weekend.

spend your Memorial day weekend? Do anything fun?

DH and I didn't do too much-we enjoyed doing NOTHING for once MY dad came over Sunday and today we went hiking in the reservation by our house. We'd never been there before and the workout..OYE! Its all up hill from the parking lot where the trails begin then it evens out.

What did everyone else do?

Friday: I took off so DH and I had a nice picnic and then walked our puppy around the park.

Saturday: Laundry and cleaned the apartment.

Sunday: BBQ by DH's parents house ( without him ) and then my niece and nephew slept over.

Monday: A nice quiet day. I cooked for a bit ( burned myself LOL ) and just relaxed.

Overall, it was a really nice weekend!!! I loved it - and usually I am depressed this weekend bc it is the start of DH's busy season but I got through it just fine!

dave worked all weekend....

i went to a wedding on saturday and we went to the drive in on sunday....that was our big weekend!

I'm sorry you didnt get to have alot of fun BUT you have a clean house which means you get to play this weekend while the rest of us are playing Cinderella before the ball.

Mmm you should keep silvadene for the burns. I got myself good a few weeks ago by being careless when I was removing a baking pan from the oven.

Went to the Hamptons Friday night, spent all of Saturday on the beach

Went to the Yankee game on Sunday... followed by going to ...The Yard in Brooklyn's Sunday Best party (Roy Davis Jr. was spinning and my son was dancing with a circle of people chanting around him)

Monday we went to South Street Seaport for lunch with SIL and then to the Met game Monday night.

Friday Night with friends

Sat- Gardening then to DH's friends 30th surprise Cookout

Sun- BBQ at my friends house where we played beer pong & Flip Cup like we were in HS again, it was great lol

Monday- Out on the boat all day and I burnt the CRAP out just my right knee...CLEARLY missed the sunblock there...damn spray!!!
