how did you or how do you plan to spend ur 1yr anniversary?
Im just curious to know if any of you ladies did anything BIG to celebrate ur 1yr or something small? Or for those of you who havent reach the 1yr..what r ur plans?

lol don't get frustrated, i'm sure some ladies just aren't checking the boards as much these days--its so nice out--its the time of year that liw slows down!
DH and i went to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse for our anniversary--a nice splurge and it was sooooo good. due to our schedules, we couldn't go anywhere until May---but we took a first anniversary trip to Punta Cana.

I had a baby 17 days before our 1 year anniversary (c-section)...so the only thing we did was he took me to really nice dinner and was very romantic about it...then we went home to our beautiful newborn little girl

I work that day until 12:30 - so I'm thinking maybe a couples massage, then romantic dinner... and getting the top tier of our cake recreated
nothing crazy!

no, you just missed the earlier thread about how no one is answering your posts anymore. J/K
DH wasnt here for our 1st anniversary, but we're going to celebrate when he comes home in July. We're keeping it low-key since money is tight. Just a small cake, some cheap champagne, and lots of sex.
Hopefully next year we'll be able to take a mini vacation for our anniversary

since i came up with most of the ideas and inspiration for our wedding (with help from you ladies of course ) .... i told the hubby to plan our anniversary celebration!
i think we might go down to virginia beach or something like that. probably just for an extended weekend ... something within driving distance.
of course, knowing him, plans won't be made until the week before

We are going to San Diego. DH is running in a corporate race out there and then we are spending the rest of the week there.

Going back to Cancun! This time not at Excellence (I wish) but at the Royal in Playa del Carmen. I think at least this time we'll leave the resort! We're only a short walk away from Fifth Avenue so it should be easy to get DH off of his butt!

When our year anniversary comes around (haven't even hit 6 months yet) I think we'll do something special for our anniversary/New Year's. We thought about going out to EW for their New Year's celebration.

we were going to do a little trip but our finances said otherwise lol....so we kept it small and honestly, it was really nice I made dinner, dh brought home flowers and we lit some candles...after dinner we watched a movie, had some sex & then ate our wedding cake then since our wedding was in december, a whole bunch of christmas movies were on tv, so we snuggled up and watched some of those and just spent time together.. at first i was disappointed that we weren't doing anything big, but it actually ended up being a really nice night
