I would love to go back to Aruba, where we honeymooned but So we make just have cake at home and do a day trip.

We went to Mexico on a cruise for our 1st year Anniversary. My husband is already working on planning something for our 2nd Anniversary.

We went back to Mackinac Island for 5days...it was awsome...we had our anniversary dinner at the place where we had or reception on our anniversary. They gave us champagne and cake on them since we came back.

i think it will depend on our financial situation when the time comes. If its the same as now- we will probably go to a nice dinner. if its better than maybe a long weekend somewhere.

We plan to go to Napa valley in CA. We've been wanting to do a wine-country trip for the longest time.

We were going to plan either a weekend in the Hamptons or Manhatten but now that we have a baby on the way, we plan on keeping it low key and inexpensive! Just going to do dinner and watch the fireworks!!

MOney will be tight so we are saving all the 'vacation funds' for one nice dinner out-nothing too crazy but that will be our last splurge. We both like to eat so its a good treat-no present exchange.

we're going to Orlando for4 days and then a short 3 day cruise to the Bahamas from Florida, we paid for it a while ago and got a pretty good deal so I'm glad we'll be able to go away

we can't go away right around our anniversary (no school vacation, DH teaches), so we booked a cruise for august.
And we have tix for SHREK THE MUSICAL(on broadway) on 11/22 - hoping to spend the night in the city, have a nice breakfast/brunch, then come home to our wedding cake.

we have an anniversary trip planned for december to jamaica. we were going to do it in september the week of our anniversary but we both decided we would much rather go away when it is cold here to 'escape' vs. leaving when the weather here is beautiful. now that kenneth is in the situation he is in i'm glad we booked it for december - leaving him in september would be too soon, i think. i feel better, if we have to go, going later on when hopefully he is much, much better. we are staying at sandals. we got a reeeeally great deal and jumped on it - we were worried, money wise, about being able to do ANY type of trip so we were thrilled to find this deal that allows us to go away for 8 days to a really nice resort, during a 'prime' time to travel.
we'll probably do a nice dinner out on our one year anniversary and eat our frozen, gross cake lol i think vinny is going to get just the top recreated so we can eat a yummy one.
