How do you feel about crushes?

How do you all feel about either you or your DH having a little crush? Obviously I'm not talking about anything more than finding someone else attractive and doing some innocent flirting. Personally I'm ok with it, so long as it's innocent and not done in my face.

That would pose a problem. IMO, crushes rarely remain innocent. Finding someone 'attractive' and BEING 'attracted'to someone are two different things. One is somewhat invested. And the only investment I want my husband having is in me.

To add I find plenty of men 'attractive'

I am a harmless flirt at times and DH has always known that. He has never minded that about me. It is cool to have that kind of understanding, that nothing will ever happen. I don't have any crushes, nor do I think I will now that I am married, but if I did or if he did, I don't see the big deal as long as it is no more than a little bit of flirting. I would never want him to hang out w/ the girl alone and I wouldn't hang out w/ a guy alone either, so that is where I draw the line. A few harmless joking words, we don't see anything wrong w/ it.

same here!

I mean if he's drooling over some hottie on TV, fine. But I don't want to hear about any 'real life' crushes.

i dont see it as a big deal..as long as neither one of us act on it...THEN there would be some *** whooping!!!
otherwise i think it is human nature to find someone of the opposite sex attractive..

Harmless flirting is okay, as long as it doesn't go anywhere. It shouldn't go anywhere past innocent words and smiles though. If you get dreamy about someone else, it has already gone too far.

Well, I'm more likely to have a crush than he is - but it's not a CRUSH crush - like where I'm thinking about this other person in a romantic way. One of DH's friends has a boyfriend that I get along with really well. I'm always saying that I think he's adorable and so sweet, etc. and DH pretends to get annoyed. And it's all very funny because he likes me too and there's a sort of mutual admiration thing going on there and everyone teases us. But it's understood that I'm not interested in him.
